Urge Governor Beshear to issue and executive order protecting LGBT people from discrimination in government.
Take action by Wednesday, July 30, 2008

Equality
continues to make leaps forward throughout the
Union, except in the
Kentucky is one of the few remaining places in our Union that LGBT people have absolutely no statewide recognition or protections.
Year after year LGBT citizens in Kentucky watch as the Kentucky Senate refuses to pass legislation to protect LGBT people from discrimination.
I personally ask Governor Beshear to raise the level of tolerance and diversity in our great Commonwealth by issuing an executive order protecting LGBT people from discrimination.
Renew our faith in the pledge of allegiance to the Flag of the Commonwealth: “I pledge allegiance to the Kentucky flag, and to the Sovereign State for which it stands, one Commonwealth, blessed with diversity, natural wealth, beauty, and grace from on High."
